Las Vegas, We are one!
This past weekend we had one of the most heartbreaking tragedies in Las Vegas and the worst mass shooting in U.S. modern time history. A gunman opened fire from his hotel room on a festival crowd killing 59 people -and injuring many more. It’s been an emotional few days for everyone.
I want to acknowledge all the hero’s of Route 91 Harvest massacre, the first responders, volunteers, nurses and doctors and everyone that has somehow helped the victims of this horrendous act of evil. Thank you for your bravery and courage during this tragic event.
I was born and raised in Las Vegas and I’ve always been proud of where I am from. Now that I live in Los Angeles, Vegas still is and will always be my home. It will always have a special place in my heart.
I love my community, more so after seeing how everyone has come together to help in any way they could. It gives me hope to see people from across the nation and all over the world reaching out to my city with donations of any kind. It brings joy to my heart to see so many selfless acts because it’s the little things that make a big difference.
If you have already helped, thank you!!! But if you are still wondering how can you help, or help more. I wanted to share with you a few ways we can all continue to help Las Vegas in these horrific times.
Las Vegas Victims fund is continuously growing, just in 4 days we have managed to raise almost 10 million dollars. Our goal is to reach 15 million dollars and I believe we can! (Funds will be used to provide relief and financial support to the victims and families of the horrific Las Vegas mass shooting.)
The cast of Mean Girls teamed up on October 3rd to do some good. They are asking for just $3 to hit a goal of $300,000. In just 3 days we have raised 74$ thousand dollars. 100% of funds raised will be distributed to the victims of Las Vegas through the NCF at the completion of this campaign. We might not make fetch happen but, we can make this happen!
I have linked all the Las Vegas Victim’s Go Fund Me’s to donate to as well.
